Home-made Cream and its many uses is a typical post war company cookery book that includes a focus on children's nutrition and provides education to the mother on what they should be feeding their children.  At the same time they outline that it is cost effective and time saving.  It is a good demonstration of the "rise of the housewife" in an austere post World War II Britain.

Small booklet is in poor condition as some the pages have come away from the staples with the cover being bumped and rubbed and the inside pages being a little dirty from use in the kitchen.  Judging from the pictures it was published in the late 1940's.
