Chinese Dresses Antique old print engraved for Bankes New System of Geography 1750. The print is a copperplate engraving, showing the Chinese dress in the 17th century.  The print is based on Cook’s first voyage, after passing down the coast of Japan they reached Macao, in China in the first week of December.
