Charles , commonly known as Charles Herman Senn (born in 1864 ; died in London on October 18, 1934 ) was a cook and author of manual books on food.

He was born in Laucostabul , Switzerland .  Tiro learned the art of cooking at the Reform Club in London . He served as secretary, president, and editor of the Universal Culinary and Food Association (formerly the Culinary Society) from 1885 until his death. He was a consultant to the National Culinary School and from 1910 to the school of chefs of the technical institute of Westminster . He was the author of several books on the subject of cookery; moreover, he reviewed and expanded many of the writings of others.
